Have couple of ideas for WEAPONS...need opinions.

Ok here goes....

Idea number one: Give the aircraft carrier the ability to aim and launch cruise missiles. Targeting and launching can be done by the team's commander. Imagine tomahawks flying over head zig zagging through the terrain toward its target.

Idea number two: New pilotable vehicle the B-52 Stratofortress! Imagine being able to carpet bomb a part of the map.

What do you think? Wouldn't any of these ideas be cool for the game?

hmm? Napalm....hadn't thought of that! :p

How about a AC-130 that can carry way more thant the amount of people in a blackhawk. I forget the capacity of a AC-130.

Good ideas stalker, but maybe it would best be implemented by a mod team. I dont see that the survivability of BF2 is going to be much longer. The mods coming out are going to be serious competition for BF2.

Ya speaking of mods....
I've seen like a million supposedly major mods being "announced" for bf2 but like not one of them seems to be near completion. When are we gonna see em come out? And better yet when will they have a decent number of servers up and running with actual real players playing them?

It would be cool to have a troop transport like that fly over a flag and have almost the entire team paratroop down to the ground.

I think the "Bus" does a good enough job of that, you can get a whole squad in there

I dont think it would be good for the game, but mods are no problem with me. Remember, MEC, China, etc. also have cruise missiles, or SCUDS lol. I was thinking of mabye a chinook/Pavelow helicopter, or littlebird, they still use em today in fact.

I hate to break it to you, but the troop carrying capacity of the AC-130 is absolutely zero. The 105mm Howitzer, 40mm Bofor guns and the 25mm gattling style cannons, and their ammo, takes up all the space in the back.

Sorry bud.

However if you were talking about the standard C-130 it can carry 64 paratroopers. So that'sbasically an entire server of people.

I forget the troop capacity of the MC-130.

I would love a MultipleRocketLaunchingSysytem tank, instead of artilery!
