I tried making a mini-image with alcohol, game still wants me to insert cd. Tried making full image, got nothing but errors. Got image from gamecopyworld, still asks me for cd. I've used Alcohol and Nero both to create virtual drive. Nero won't let me mount image unless it's a .img or .nrg. Any ideas?

hey man well its sounds like ur doing everything right, I was able to mount the virtual drive provided by gamecopyworld with alchohol120 with no problems. My only question is which bf2 cd image did you dl off gamecopyworld? Use the file titled "Battlefield 2 [ALL] *****/Fixed Image #1" and if you are currently using this image TRY THE OTHERS. Good luck dude...post back and keep us updated.
Oh and lastly i tried creating a virtual image with alchohol originally,however, after mounting the img bf2 would not load.Comment

I d/l'd the same img you did.I see that when I start the game, it looks at the optical drives first before it tries the virtual one, then it sees no disk, so I dont think it even checks the virtual drive.Comment
