Damn, after hours of figuring out ways to successfuly evade and attack the J10 using the JSF, I have found the secret to surviving and taking down a J10 pilot successfully.

Obviously I wont tell the secret, I'm just wondering why DICE never said anything about it when many were complaining about the balance between JSF v J10 and other jets?

The maneuver will give a very very high probablility of surviving if J10 is at medium or long range on your six with a lockon while not allowing the J10 back onto your tail.

Maybe it's like a puzzle from "The Da Vinci Code". You have to divine what the secret is from clues cleverly hidden in his original post.

Well i'm bemused by the threadstarter - this is hardly likely to give anyone in an F35b an advantage over the J10 but merely flatline the discrepancy between them. SO keeping the secret to himself is pointless as there is no huge advantage to be gained
Note also that he said

no mention of short range which is where most jet combat takes place by far and from what he is saying it is merely a complex manouvere like a reverse split s - not a simple little 'here is a quick reflex to avoid incoming fire'

"Dogfighting" has changed into a fight between cat and mouse. Evasion is the first step in winning(thats if or when a J10 gets on your tail). F35 is a stealth jet, try to keep it that way.

O and short range to me is like right on your tail 15 feet away of which you can still do this maneuver, but if they are that close, there is a different maneuver for that.

The JSF has no stealth capabilities - if that were true all I would do every time is flip on my tail in a stall with the vectoring thrust and lose lock with the engines obstructed by the airframe while simultaneously getting behind the enemy
the fact remains that the J10 can drop lock my hard turning and dodge incoming AAM by a quick flick in any direction except in the vertical - the F35 cannot

Is bailing out over the airfield and getting another plane classified as a manouver :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: because i find that that works nicely, only if your plane is in the red and gonna blow up anyway, otherwise its a bad move. lol.

the trick is to base rape the J10 before he can take off ..because if you dont he will come base rape you

once you can fly the plane takes no skill, being able to switch from missles to bombs provides you with a view of almost every enemey ..and then shooting at flags takes care of those that dont use vehicals

i wish reality would kick in because as far as i know a USA air craft carrier can take your ass out half way across the ****ing globe so im thinking one J10 wont be doing ****
