Banned for using arty on a no arty server

I thought forbidding wepons including artillery is against ROE and those servers should be shut down. I was playing commander on "High Points 24/7 Ghost Town" server (65.99.196.233), and didn't share the admin's opinion about "no arty allowed" so he banned me. I don't know who made that noob ASCO_Deputy admin in the first place.

§1.6 Server administrators may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on roles or kits that players can use while on your server.

This would include but not limited to:

• § Note.. Commander class can not be enforced due to the § 2.3 rule change

In the Version 1 of the "ROE" it doesn't explicitly say you can't...but let me look though their forums and see if they said anything about it.

You can limit where the arty can be used such as no artying uncaps but you can't say no arty at all.

Limiting artillery ANYWHERE on a map is against the ROE as far as I can see. You cannot selectively dictate where it is used. It's basically stated in the 1.5 section of the ROE.

No, you can dictate it may not be used on uncaps, for example. It specifically says this. But otherwise yes, you can't say "no arty".

How about, not attending such places if you want to arty people. I see a karkland server that says NO ARMOR. I wont go in it, if I want to have fun in a tank. There are more ROE friendly servers than not.
So what is your problem? - I think that people bitch about getting kicked for using a tank on a no armor server, is cos they was enjoying killing the crap outta unsuspecting troops and getting cheap kills. That in itself is a kickable offense.

Anyway. most people hate arty. don't they?? !!!

First he kicked me, and when I came back I told him that restricting the arty is against ROE and he banned me after that. I left the server info so you can check it out. I bet you there won't be rule like that unless that idiot is there.

Sorry, I'll take that back. If it aint in the servers message, then bollocks to them, sorry, I mean :censored: . You cant have rules that you only post is some little corner of a webpage. If it aint on the server message, then its good to go, baby.

Did you arty an uncap? Did you read the in game messages? If you artyed an uncap and they have a rule saying no arty on uncaps then guess what. I agree why the hell complain about it, there are 1000's of servers out there.

Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and pay for a server yourself instead of bludging off other people. Its all to easy to play for free then cry about getting kicked later.

kicking a player for using arty is a violation of 2 rules

1 you may not limit class or weapon

2 abusive admin

report it at www.bfroe.com in the ticket system and we will investigate it..

if this was a clan ranked server and you were constantly bombarding thier uncap with arty then they were within their right to kick or ban you

These are rules that are not enforced upon in EA’s public ranked servers but may be modified in privately rented ranked servers.
