one time, i was playing with this guy named sz.xero, and he was like absolutely amazing.

but the best i can think of would be a guy i gunned for, 1STG-RONIN... something like that. the guy was insane.

I find it amusing that the majority of you have chosen "skilled" heli gunners. Any gunner is a good gunner w/ a good pilot.

The majority of the people mentioned dont even break the top 25,000 Overall players according to www.statpadder.com (not really statpadders, just the name of the site) except for black jesus. It's a bftracks-esque site that ranks you according to skill.

You should all play w/ me if you want to see some all around skill. I can't say I'm the best @ being a helo pilot, but I never get a complaint from my gunners.

Anyways, enough tooting of my own horn. The best player I've played w/ is definately BushViper. Been playing w/ him since BF:Vietnam, and he's always been a killer in the air, and a good ground pounder, he knows how to catch people off guard.

I dont play with him. I just watch.

Once I played with Rombaft, I don't know if he remembers, but he killed me couple of times. I haven't read anything from him in a while BTW, and I don't think he's played neither.

I just joined a game and saw his name come up with a TK. I laughed. A few seconds later, he TKed two more people. .....and there was me before, thinking of playing with him. I logged off the server (safer that way).

Heh, I'm ranked 19,454 overall on that site, just checked. So there ya go, Cronofan, lol.

And the dude I said was the best I've seen is ranked 8,339th.

We're both LT.'s, so neither of us should be the best, but I'm happy with mine since there are hundreds of thousands of players. To be in the top 20k is awesome, IMHO.

LOL, and I'm 6,690th overall with a knife.

Top 25 or Top "Anything" doesn't mean **** when you keep in mind that for months, people were able to whore the blackhawk guns... among other things. Anyone who's played with me can tell you I outfly these "top players" and my highest account (fssf) probably has me ranked 1500 or so for helos. Shows you how much that's worth.

Wrong. A good gunner can assess a situation properly and choose the right weapon. Time after time I look down and see my gunner looking in completely the wrong direction where there aren't any enemies, or they just plain don't know how to use a TV missile. Gunners are dependent on their pilots, but a good pilot doesn't make a good gunner.

I remember BushViper, back when the game came out I think he was near me in the top 20 anti tank kit. I also think I remember going against him in a helo with my clans gunner, dominated him but that doesn't say much unless he had a helo team.
