Ever get the impression 80-90% of your team is worried about points over actually winning?
I always seem to be on the team were Im capping flags or defendign them with a few other guys while a large majority of the team is rushing into a "traffic" points area.
Take for example the infamous Karkand.
I always find myself at a back flag yelling " I need back up" then when look at my map 90% of the team is still at the fence.
And even after back flags are taken or uncontested flags..teammates still figure spawning at areas flooded with enemies as there best option.
They should really implement some point system to reward the winning team and not just the commander.

Sometimes I feel like one team is underskilled and gets killed easily at the main base. Fortunately I haven't seen anybody who doesn't want to win.

I find if you try and win you get way more points than normal, and it is much more fun and competitive too then just baseraping or camping.

Its true, if you try to win i.e. assaulting flags you will get very high scores due to all the flag decaps and caps....

And yes I know what you mean, it amazes me how I go and mow down like 5 people and the rest of my team are sitting back just watching me even once the flag is decapped they sit there like a bunch of retarted cows....

Mid April, I wondered that myself, and the answer is a resounding yes! It applies to both teams, not just yours.

Yeah. As long as there's no incentive to winning (well, little incentive) people will prefer points. I read this elsewhere, but it makes perfect sense:
Commander: 2x for winning
Squad Leaders: 1.5x
Squad Members: 1.25x
Lone Wolfs: 1.1x
It's also encourage at least a little more teamwork.

I always thought, that however many tickets you win by gets added to your score or split among all the winners

also only the top three of the winnning side get medals, or the top three of both sides ( to discourage teamswapping)

commander gets double score, but no medal out of it

I find that wake island seems to be more of a map where people are interested in actually taking or keeping flags and trying to win. Though it does have its point whores namely jet whores and heli whores.

Just the nature of public servers I think. Sometimes I find myself the ONLY one that is trying to cap flags. The others are doing the "frontal assault for most points" or "If I stand here long enough I'll get the next plane/heli/tank/apc..." strategy. Doesn't really bother me too much though. To each his/her own. I just try to have fun, but yea, it does get frustrating sometimes.

Yeah alot of the time my team never wants to win they are eather sniping, putting mines down or just setting traps. Things rarely get done.
