I keep getting this message and I cannot view the CD-key Invalid listed on this forum. Is anyone else having this problem? I was playing all day yesterday and then when I got on last night and this morning I started getting this message. I have a valid copy of BF2 that I have been playing for a couple of months.

I am having the same problem. I played two days ago, and now it's telling me my CD-key is invalid for BF2 and SF. This sucks. I have legal originals of both including Euro Force. -

Any of you ever downloaded something suspicious? A common trend nowadays seems to bundle applications with features which include stealing cd keys...

You get that as well if you dont launch from the original login you installed to, or a login without admin rights. That might not be your problem and theres a tool in one of the bf2 folders to reinstall your key.Comment

I fixed my problem by editing the registry and re-entering my CD-Keys there.Comment

Re: CD-KEY Invalid (I cannot look at the other post)
if you are getting an invalid cd-key, and you do own a legit bf2, do this:
Open a file called Battlefield 2_code.exe in the support folder located in your Battlefield2 folder.
ex: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\Support\Battlefield 2_code.exe
then you should be prompt to enter your cd-key. Enter it and then it should solve your problem :)
or you can do what Major_Storm suggested and go into your registry and edit it there, but it seems too much trouble for me :)Comment
