EF Question

Hi,
I am thinking of buying the Euro force Expansion but have a question.
Can you load the new maps through the original BF2 game?
Or is it like the SF expansion where if you try and load a SF map through the original game it makes you completely restart the game, and open the SF icon?
Any help would be appreciated.

if you load up normal bf2 then the ef maps appear in the browser,and if you join a ef server then it does NOT reload the game like sf.
