so after a while you find yourself on the top like Sgt_MaxPower General
but he also don t have the war college after don t let it scare you 2665:28:57 hours and 309,926 points .......i don t know but ithink he is retired or so but this is not normal that he doesn t have the war college is it ?
5,490 / 2,871 (1.91) is his average !!!!!!! i think this really sucks .
what do you think ???????

The war college ribbon is all about wheter you win or you lose, it never comes down to one person........unless youre on a 16 player map. Winning and losing is determined by luck, team play, and having a good commander, and squads that actually work together. Hence why he may not have it.

The WCR is prolly the worst laid out award in the game. It's really not something you can work towards honestly for reasons mentioned by Poison. Too much luck involved and the law of averages dictates that it's not attainable through normal play. Worse, it encourages people to teamchange, cheat, and stack teams in order to go after it.

I personally think it should be based on time in the SL and command roles, a positive win/loss (which you can attain honestly) and maybe a fixed ratio between kills and teamkills (like sub 5%).

getting the wcr legitimently is hard work and once you pass a certain ammount of losses, its almost impossible. it took me around 10 weeks of carefully playing and choosing servers.

actually it takes 50 command hours and a 3:1 win/loss ratio. so if you had 100 losses you would need 300 wins minimum, then when you meet those requirements you need 45 team points while commanding in one round (before the 2x win)

Ah... yeah.
You need a 3:1 WLR to get the WCR. That's the killer.

My question is..............if you do finally manage to get this totally unrealistic ribbon and than your win to loss ratio goes below 3:1 do you lose it until you bring it back up?

In all reality who cares if he does not have the War College Ribbon. SGT_Maxpower is the best player out there in my opinion and I have had the pleasure of playing with him on various servers. His stats are better than all of ours so who really cares.

Ah, just thought id ask cause someone was saying that if you get promoted then teamkill a few times you get demoted (not sure if thats right though) just wondering if it was the same for ribbons.

just look at your wins and losses in your stats, then take wins divided by losses. checking your stats your at "Wins/Losses - 1050/1051" so your about 1:1
to see what you need take your losses x 3 ,minus your wins:
you would need 2103 wins to get to 3:1. :hmm:

So long as i win the next two thousand rounds im sorted...
But its getting easier to get if you want, so few maps and so much playing means you can predict which side will win or loose pretty certainly without having to switch later on in a round- however its a bit of serious sport to get into.
Its totally beyond me to get that ribbon now, but if i knew what i know now when i started its pretty simple. I suppose that is the failing of the award, it requires only statistical analysis of the maps to get, no achievement in that.

I played with him earlier today, and while he is a good player, I wouldn't call him the *best* player. I looked up his stats, and there is nothing that says "I'M THE BEST", other than his hours played.

FYI, in that round, I came in 2nd, he came in 3rd.
