I was commander and I heard "Supplies dropping now." I look at my Supply button and its Yellow, ready to drop, but I didn't press the button. To be sure it wasn't a glitch I dropped supplies somewhere else and to my amazement it worked.

Sure enough apparently someone has a cheat that allows them to drop their own supplies. God knows what else they can do.

If I'm just now hearing about this, or in this case experiencing it, then it must be a popular cheat by now.

Never heard of this cheat before and trust me it is not very widespread...at least not on ranked servers.

Someone was doing this ****earlier.


The commander (or so we thought), put arty over us, and everyone is like "WTF COMMANDER!?"... and then the commander started freaking out.. hes like "how the hell... I DID NOT put that arty there... WTF?" then he resigned, and then the next 2 commanders put arty over our heads (but I guess it was the cheater).

I still don't understand how people can create hacks. Don't they have to be installed onto the server in order for everyone in the game to see the effects?

In any case, these guys should be banned for hacking.

How can they? Probably more people trying to create hacks than there are trying to prevent them, its the way a hacker thinks ' beat the system' is the mindset. As for helping the cause step up to the plate and try to catch them like I have. If I suspect someone of something I try to catch them,take screenshots,turn on fraps and see what I can find and will say I have sent the names of 4 people to EB and 3 have been wiped so they can be caught you just have to help out sometimes.
A few days ago I thought a guy in a tank was using a cheat so I waited till I could ride atop it as the machinegunner and I watched him, seemed as thought when we went around a corner or a building his turret would automatically spin towards a enemy,hmmm, I quickly turned on fraps and caught this,promptly turned him in and I'm waiting and watching him on my leaderboard. :-)
I noticed lately when in a battlerecorder server and d/led the game you can view the entire game from diff players views and have to think a hack will be very easy to catch, just not alot of BR servers. I have alot of ingame hours and seem to know when I'm being jacked and when I'm not, so pay attention and you'll see it.
Snipers are the worst, I guess they believe since their sniping the aimbot wont be so suspicious but when a sniper ends the game with THE MOST kills and the gold medal I have to think,hmmm thats not normal, then you see him making the craziest kills with a pistol from extreeme distances and you know. Just move to his team and find him,get close to him, as a sniper and see if YOU can make the shot.

I agree, if you have a lot of hours you can spot something thats not right. I have around 800 and see cheaters everyday. Most are using aim bots and wall hacks. Some are using some kind of a cheat that causes lag, yes there is such a thing. I noticed it a long time ago and was able to prove it the other day. I dont think the guys at EA would belive me though. Every time I got close to this one player I got lag real bad, Just that one guy. My ping was 60 something and his was 50 something. Ive seen it a lot before but this is about the first time I could narrow it down to one and only one player.
The cheating has gotton so bad at times that I spend time looking for enemy UAV and then prepare for the wall hacker. You know the guy is using a wall hack when he starts to fire his weapon right before you go around a corner, Because of this I now stop before going around any corner to see if someone will start shooting at me.
I have reported 3 padders and so far nothing has happened. That was about a month ago. I even have a confession from one of them. Still nothing. The one who confessed also has 2 reports filled on him, figure that one out.
On the up side though, for about 3 or 4 days after the next patch there wont be any cheaters, they have to wait till the cheats are updated. At least thats one guranteed upside to the patch. . . . . . . .Red

Heh, I was piloting the MEC chopper at the TV station and someone got an eryx off on me from the roof and just as I was thinking of going back for repairs, someone drops 50 crates on my chopper and repairs it to full.. That was very... interesting. Of course the next thing that came down was 5 arty strikes so I got out of there :<

Yeah ive seen this too, some people can spam 10 at a time.
