Just saw my first cheater dropping his own supplies

I was commander and I heard "Supplies dropping now." I look at my Supply button and its Yellow, ready to drop, but I didn't press the button. To be sure it wasn't a glitch I dropped supplies somewhere else and to my amazement it worked.

Sure enough apparently someone has a cheat that allows them to drop their own supplies. God knows what else they can do.

If I'm just now hearing about this, or in this case experiencing it, then it must be a popular cheat by now.

Yeah ive heard of this seemingly some how you can make it so that you have all the commander privilages without actually being commander.

I've heard of the same thing with artilerry (was quite funny actually). Was playing a round as a normal grunt, but the commander kept talking in the chat "Who the $*&# is firing artillery?" cause it kept coming down inbetween the enemy's and his. mega lame, but funny in a way

I too have seen this happen while commanding, I was dropping supplies on South docks at Dalian plant and while watching the commander screen to see where they went, I see a box drop next to the stinger basket where a teammate was, it was one of our clan members (1stAir) and as I was saying something about it in Ventrillo he promptly left the server and Vent. I began watching this person and saw many instances of (weirdness) and started saying things about it in our forums and was BANNED (by Air-Rage) from them for it. I said goodbye to 1st Air and dont miss them, for I will NOT play with cheaters and will do everything I can to have them wiped. BTW I checked my BFCC client that day and the opposing team had NO commander, so it couldnt have been from there.

funny thing is alot of 1st Air cheat, its plainly obvious yet they suck. They ban when they get owned in a jet like I did to their two top pilots who were base raping the round before.

Hmm I aint seen it yet. But I usually assign the next supply drop to my armor or specific player as needed plus the time remaining in seconds until I drop it. I do this with text messages to the whole team so that anyone who needs heal, reload or repairs know where to go.

Perhaps that discourages others from mooching off my supplies.

I sometimes see the enemy commander drop supplies onto my own men prior to his arty strike and try to inform my teamates to scatter quickly before the enemy arty arrives to kill them.

I hope they do find and fix this as I would not want another to be screwing with "MY" supplies when I am commander.
