    Back when BF2 first came out, I was getting about 40+ points each round but then the patch came out, and I get about 25 did EA change the ranking system without telling anyone?

    I know it was a long time ago :p

      EA has changed the award requirements and the ranks and yes they did tell everyone. The patch was 1.12 and it lowered the requirements for making certain ranks, Im not sure about recently I kinda stopped paying attention when I realized they weren't going to fix the existing bugs, rather keep making changes to take your mind off them... This would still not explain why you are scoring less points per round, it would have nothing to do with it.
