        Re: Help with AT needed

I have a ratio of 1.3279 with the AT class and it's my favorite so you can listen or ignore me.

Okay, first off your ERYX/SRAW is your greatest weapon. It can take out an vehicle.

        Choose your prey.
        • Airplanes take 1 rocket to blow up, easy target if their on the ground.
        • Boats take 1 rocket, easy target if you hit it before the gunner hits you.
        • Attack choppers take 2 rockets, hard target, but can be done. Jump to avoid splash damage and fire when still or not looking your direction.
        • Transport choppers take 3-4 rockets, easy slow target. But, takes a lot of time.
        • Transport vehicles take 1-2 rockets and can be hard to hit if it is heading right towards you.
        • Anti-Air take 2-3 rockets, easy target, however once it's guns are firing in your direction, RUN!
        • The APC takes 2-3 rockets, hit and move. If you stand still or stay in the same place except your demise.
        • Tanks take 2-4 rockets, take high ground, like a roof, a tank can only look up so far. Aim for the rear if possibe.
        Okay now for the basics.
        • Aim for the wheels or threads on vehicles. If that's not possible aim for the rear. Take high ground if possible most vehicles can't aim up high enough without having to move back, which gives enough time usually to fire two rockets and leave.
        • Never take the ERYX/SRAW out unless you're need to use it. Otherwise the alarm goes off in the vehicles, even if you're not looking in their direction.
        • The rockets make great anti-sniper tools. Plus you can move while AT Sniping and still have accuracy.
        • The MP5/Type 85/PP-19 Bizon, DAO-12, or P90 is a close range weapon it's not meant to hit targets far away, it's can do a fair amount of damage mid range (burst fire no more than 2 seconds), but their superb close range.
Extremely important note. You need to compensate for rocket travel time when vehicles are in motion. The faster or further away the vehicle is the more you'll need to compensate. Besides you can alway make a slight adjustment if you over compensate.

I'm pretty sure thats not true, as far as I know it's when the armour is within the inner circle? Why would the target lock on alarm go off if you are not even targetting the armor at that point?

Yah, thats what I said. It only gives the tanks the alarm when you scope in and the tank is inside the little centered circle.

Tanks get the lock on signal regardless of you using the scope or not. If you're aiming for him, even just slighlty, he'll hear it. Feel free to try this out on empty servers.
