      Re: Memory.dll

1 gig memory, ati radeon 9800 pro 128 mb, thats about all i no.
i had bf2 installed on my computer before. i partitioned my hard drive and put all my games on the D drive (where all my games are) and when i put the shortcuts back on my desktop, i started the game and it said i didn't have the d3dx9_25.dll file. so i got that from my bro's computer (we are on a router), and the game launched fine. now it won't launch any game, it just keeps going to back to the desktop.

          Re: Memory.dll

Well the memory problem could be the result of many things or just a random glitch. Have you done anything to ur system recently that may have sparked this problem? Can you use system restore to go back when bf2 was operational? To clear the problem I would try re-installing bf2 and if that doesnt work maybe format (if you really want to play) and post on the forum again if this fails....good luck

            Re: Memory.dll

i just did a reformat to my computer. this is how my problems started. first i needed to add d3dx9_25.dll to my windows folder, now my game won't startup. after my reformat i just added the shortcuts to my desktop. all my other games had no issues with them, bf2 is another story. i don't understand this at all.

Sounds like an odd problem...and all of this started when you reformatted eh? Why may I ask did you reformat in the first place besides the whole game on other partition thing?

                Re: Memory.dll

i had my game on my partition well before i reformatted, but i was getting a weird my computer problem. it kept giving me a error report, and i was slowed down my spyware that was in my registry, and was extremly hard to remove manually.

                  Re: Memory.dll

I would reinstall directx. Who knows what wrong/different info could have come over in that dx dll you pulled from your brothers PC.
