  • White Textures??

Hi, while playing BF2 on my laptop, i find that some of the textures occasionally go white.

    Like this:

This picture is from the OPK mod, but the same thing also happens in vanilla.

The problem occurs in heavy forests, while climbing ladders, swimming, some explosions and when falling.

The game is still playable, but it is kinda annoying.
Does anyone know why this happens, and how to stop it??

    My Specs:
    - Nvidia 7400 go 128mb
    - 1gb RAM
    - Core duo 1.66 ghz

    Thanks .

Yeah, while im no expert, that sounds like overheating of the graphics card, i used to get stuff like that when i had the bright idea of putting my computer next to my radiator. oops.

I'll go with heat damage too.

If it isn't down to the drivers your using then the card is damaged, probably due to over heating/age :/

Thanks for the info. The system is new (2 weeks old). I think i can try to turn the speed (and heat) down in the nvidia control panel.

                Still, its really annoying!
