I was just curious if I can get the new Sniper Gun (L96A1) with just the Euroforce expansion pack and not the Special Forces?

This is quite weird. Everybody are saying that you need SF to have the L96A1 unlocked but I got it through the vanilla BF2 and I don't even have Special Forces. After patching BF2 (to 1.22 if I remember correct) I was able to unlock it without problems.Comment

I don't think you need sf to unlock the second unlock per kit. But you need to have unlocked the first unlock of that class first. That means that you have to unlock the M95 before the L96, the G36C before the SCAR-L and so on.
Check this site out.
[EDIT]: My fault, everyone is saying that you need bf2:sf to unlock those weapons. Sorry.Comment
