Weapon Unlocks

Are there more weapon unlocks if I buy the expansion packs? I'm just wondering because I just made sgt. and a friend of mine had 2-3 more weapons when he was sgt. but he has the SF pack?!?!!

Your unlocks double when you buy SF.

Ah, thank you.....and is that only after you earn more unlocks...or will it give you all the ones youve earned so far, even before you bought it

I think it gives you all the ones you've missed previously.

I've only just recently got SF myself, and at the time was a corporal with 2 unlocks, yet when I played just one round of SF I got 2 unlocks, then just the other day I was promoted to Sergeant and I got another 2.

So I'm guessing it does.

Sweet....and am I right in believing that you dont need the SF disk, to play SF?

I don't know to be honest with you, I haven't tried it. I would of thought that would only be the case with Euro Force.

Yeah, my buddy said he didnt need it...and he would bring it over and install it here...so I wasnt sure

I have a question that's not related to the OP's question, but is related to the unlocks.

In-game, BF2 shows the second (SF) unlock for Assault is the flashbang grenade, but BF2S shows it to be the F2000. I know players have used the F2000 in Vanilla and I do like that gun, but have no interest in unlocking only a flashbang. Is BF2S right on this one, or do you get both the gun and the flashbang upon unlocking it?
