bug or hack???

Playing ghost town 2 nights ago. I'm the section commander with a full section. One of the guys listed in my section is wearing the russian uniform, we are british, he has green tags over him and everything.

he starts shooting at us so we fight back i kill him, i get a teamkill but at same time for killing him i get defended flag points.

rest of section is getting same sota thing.

he kills us and gets teamkills but is able to cap our flags

anyone else ever get this???

That is the infamous blue bug that is seen even more rarely than the red bug where friendlies have red tags above them. When you kill someone with the blue bug you receive points for a normal kill despite what the kill messages say because those messages are occasionally bugged as well.

it was odd that he was in our section and showing up green

but had differnet uniforn and weapons

I had the same problem last night while playing on Ghosttown. Everyone on my team, aside from my squad in green, was showing up as red. I shot 1 guy wondering why he didnt put up much of a fight (put it down to lag!), then another guy who appeared as enemy, and then another! The first guy I killed was calling me a tk'er but his statements were also appearing in red! 'Why is this enemy calling me a tk'er', I thought to myself! I figured it must be a bug but before I could apologise and explain, me batty was slung and banned from the server.... Bug left me

I had a weird problem like that as well. An enemy was showing up as blue for me. I asked the guys in my squad, and they checked and it showed him on the other team. On my system it showed him as on my team. Weird.

BF2 is the buggiest game I've ever played. Just as a software product, it sucks serious ass.

Add in all the unique rules each server imposes, plus the endless shrieking arty and sometimes it's not very much fun.

I must be addicted or something.

I once got the 7/6 squad bug and blue tag bug on myself. I was able to spawn on the other teams quad leader, that was one weird round.
