What the heck?

Today,I was playing in a server and although I don't think it was a ranked server,I got a Basic Special Forces medal today,since I mostly play with the Special Forces kit.But in the awards etc.I have no medals there!The medal simply doesn't exist there!Why?

Also I played once or twice at a ranked server and still I see that I have no stats when I see my profile.As if I never played BF2 online.Why is that?What's
going on?

unranked servers = no earning medals, that's that.

if you have less than 100 global points your score wont be uploaded to those sites...whats your in-game rank?

My rank?Heck,I'm still private!I've only played in a ranked map once or twice.
And you know why?Because I can only play in servers that use the same version I do.And you know why?Because I can't install any patches!Every time I try to install a patch I get a "patching failed" notice.That doesn't let me install Special Forces too.Talking about bad luck huh?I've tried a lot of things but nothing works!
