On going problem with ranking

Any advice would be a great help.

Basically my BF2 just wont promote my rank for some reason. I get the badges and awards ok, just never promoted.

I'm sitting on 50100 score, the progress bar is right up to the max and again nothing is happening.

• I have the SF add-on (never play it)
• Also the Euro Force add-on (can never find a server to play on)
• And patched to the lastest 1.22

On the EA downloader it says for the 1.22 patch "ready to install" but i did that, and tried again last night and its still saying "ready to install"

Is there any order you meant to patch and install the add-ons first?

I would consider a re-install, but want to know if there any known isssues first.

Most problems like this are due to the stat servers not updating fast enough join a different server play a full round (you might see yourself get promoted again). Then leave the server logout wait 5 minutes and then login again if it dosnt work the first time try doing it a couple of times and youll deffinatly rank up.

u have to install battlefield 2 ,then special forces and euro forces, then you run the 1.22 patch and all three will be patced to 1.22..

As you can see I ranked up twice today before showing in my stats.

Followed advice and went on different server and got promoted, plus 2 unlocks. So much happier now =D

I had the same problem when I got promoted to Sgt. It came up on the screen that I got promoted....but I was still lance corporal...I switched servers and got promoted agian....but that time it stuck....now about 2000 more points and I can do it all over again

You've got 50100 Global points and you have never been promoted???

For reference, whenever I get over the threshold of required points, I go onto an "EA...." server, get 1 kill, and get promoted. Just make sure to finish the round and check BFHQ if the promotion took before disconnecting.
