Why no Infantry metals for SF?

You know the Combat Infantry Metal, where you have to get Basic in all the kits...those metals.

How come there aren't any SF Infantry Metals like there is for BF2:Vanilla?

EA have said that there will be no further awards in the game, aside from "time in service" type awards for expansions/booster packs if any new armies are added (like the EU service awards for Euro Force).

Bf2 will exist for a while even after 2142 comes out, bf3 might kill it tho

whats weird is if you check out stats.totalbf2.com they have 3 SF medals listed that no other stats site has:

These can be found in the award code for SF, however, they are commented out. A few other stat sites have them listed too, even though you can't actually earn them.

Essentialy I believe that 2142 will=bf3.
