Sniper hits vs. Sniper kills

I wanted to know what percentage of your hits with the sniper rifle have resulted in a kill. I just did the math and mine is 40% ... seems sucky, but i spent a lot of time with the m95 and couldnt get consistent head shots. how bout y'all?

I dont think we can calculate that??? unless we have recorded our evey shot and kill.. How did you keep up with all that?

mine is basically 50%(49.6)
627 hits for 276 kills. thats bad though.

Mine is 51.8%. I have no idea what a good ratio would be.

Interesting way to look at that stat, I am only batting 0.357 for baseball lovers or 36% for those that are not :laugh:

But, my shotgun stats are odd:

KILLS: 2141
HITS: 1924

Which gives me 111% for my shotgun - That hardly makes sense!

I believe i have a 48%. You can also go to www.bf2s.com and they give you stats for all your weapons, including grenade launcher.

....no it's not mate. Anything above 40% I'd consider good.

Obviously, it may be a little easier now with the accuracy improved on the sniper rifles, so for anyone that only started playing BF2 after the 1.21 patch, (or whatever patch is was when they tweaked the sniper rifles), maybe they should get at least 40%

Mine switches from 48-51% a fair bit, depends on how good a day im having

my new account is from after that patch so maybe thats it. Or maybe its because i only play sharqi so sniping is a bit easier. plus i try to only shoot if i know im going to hit. but sometimes that doesnt work out.

But that's not so important because when you dont kill your enemy with the sniper-rifle you got a high chance for getting 1 help-point if one of your mates finishes him.

According to Formitron its 53.1% or to be more precise 53.09%. Its been that for some time now, cannt seem to raise it. I figured that if I made 2000 hits from now on and never miss I would increase it to 60% which is my long term goal. Dunno if that will ever happen, but FlyingEgg has 61% so it can be done I guess :)
The highest Accuracy is 66% I think and held by Travisty.
