Can't unlock my guns? Only option is 'undefined'??

What the heck is going on?? i go to bfhq, as one normally does, it pops up saying i have a new unlock, great, then it does this dealy (see attached pic) and it says 'undefined' where the name of the gun belongs, and the little right arrow doesnt work. what do i need to do!?
do i need to reinstall?

if i were u, i would try uninstalling, go to ur documents and make sure the bf2 folder is gone. restart and reinstall the game. try if tht works.

no u wouldnt actually. ur rank is in the EA servers, not in ur comp. jsut cause u reinstalled doesnt mean u start over, u start where u left off

wise man speaky da truth.

uninstalling bf2 would be my first choice. contacting EA about their effed up game would be the second, patient, time consuming choice.

I'm having the same issue. At first it wouldn't work on one computer, so i tried installing it on another, but I get the same issue on the second computer as well. I don't know if re-installing it will help, but I would like to save that option for last.

ok, maybe restarting will magically fix it :P


ok, here are the only factors that have changed since my last unlocks:

1) new acc (to get unlocks faster )
2) spec forces installed
3) patched to latest version

did you do any of those?

having the same problem also

it was working fine up until I installed SF then everything got screwed up, when I click on BFHQ some of the guns dont have their proper description

I went to another computer with BF2 and SF installed (both up to date) logged onto my account and its having the same problem

I am having same problem.. I don't have SF installed, just regular BF2. Just got promoted to sergent and want my new gun.. Very mad...

.... Just great, I too am having this problem... Its so frustrating, and ANNNOOOOYYYYIIINNNGGG. I have regular BF2.

I am having the same problem. When I was promoted to "lance corporal" I had no problem unlocking the new gun. But now that I am "corporal" I get the same problem as the above posters.

The page shows I have 1 unlock remaining but then the choice is "unidentified" and I cant pick anything

Same problem, I unlocked a weapon last week after installing the 1.21 patch, that worked fine. I bought Euro Force a couple of days ago and my latest unlock does not work.

Wow okay not just me then, i finally got promoted to first sargent last night woohooo.

But this morning when i went into BFHQ to unlock my brand spanking new sniper rifle that i was after it sais exactly the same thing (undefined)
