  • rank steps???

alright so im First Sarge. at 20,000 score.

I need 30,000 additional score until the Sarge Major.

But once im Sarge Major i only need 10,000 until 2nd lieutenant

shouldnt that be more like the opposite or perhaps somewhere in between.

Like 15,000 until sarge major, then 25,000 until 2nd lieutenant.

its just odd to me why its so hard to go from first sarge to sarge major. compared to sarge major to 2nd lieutenant.

many threads about this already, the rank increases are out of sync score wise all the way up to 150,000, but what can you do (well except use the SEARCH feature )

Rules are good. So i would not break them if i was you. EA has made mistakes, we all do. Making a video game is not as easy as many people think. Alot of bugs showup after release because of the many people playing and someone might come across it. About the ranks issue it doesnt really matter because at either rate you WILL get 2ndLt at 60K points. How you get there shouldnt matter to much, just as long as you get there. Ya get what i mean?

Ya, I want to be a Sergeant Major for a lot longer then 10,000 points. I worked hard back at 18,000 points to make sure that I was going to be a First Sergeant. I wish they had continued the second tier ranks for those that are willing to meet certain requirements, IE, have a Warrant Officer system for those that keep up with their badges and points, and Regular Officer ranks for those that want to just play the game and don't worry about what is behind the character.

You got that backwards... it would be normal officer ranks for the ones who play well and get the badges. and the warrant officer ranks for the ones who just want to play. Warrant officer ranks are below those of officer ranks.

dont take my word on it. but in the canadian military. Warrant officers are usually like high ranked enlisted. but u just need to get to like sargeant, then u can apply.

and the american airforce doesnt use the ranks. dunno about the rest.

                      US army ranks- http://www.army.mil/symbols/armyranks.html
starts at bottem from left to right.
                      US marines-http://www.military-quotes.com/ranks/marine-rank-insignia.htm
                      US air force-http://www.military-quotes.com/ranks/air-force-rank-insignia.htm
                      US navy-http://www.chinfo.navy.mil/navpalib/ranks/officers/o-rank.html
                      US coast gaurd-http://www.uscg.mil/images/graphics/ranks/ranks.htm
Does that clear it up? According to those, wherever WO ranks apply, they are always below officer ranks.
