Re: What you do about shadows settings!

It was not meant to be a bitch or a complaint, so much as
me fishing, to see what everyone else is doing!

I like the shadows.. and there are some places where
if you get down into the shadows and hide, you will
    not be seen..

I have never run my on LOW because I think there should
be some shadows, or it doesn't look as "real".

A few places I am thinking of are

The archway in Karkland, The construction Building in Shonghi (I think)
over by the TV station, and how about all of the patio's on Wake??

I will try turning mine down to low, and see if my averages go up?

    Thanks for the thoughts guys...

There's not many places where this would be useful since the battles in BF take place on such a massive scale. Perhaps SF would be ruined by this but I never played it. If this were counter-strike than it would damn near pass for a lambert hack and everyone would be po'ed.

I have my shadows on. I may take a small hit in deaths, but its worth the eye candy.

Seriously though, I know that in some situations I get kills because the other guys comp lagged whereas mine is running at 60fps, is that fair?

          Yeah, I have a decent comp (7900GT's in SLI, 2 Gigs low latency DDR, X2 4400+). :P
Surrender your CPU to me and I may let you live!

Dinamic light make a big difference in the dark areas.

Those who use poor grapich setting probably dont have a fast computer and accurate mouse and a big screen and surround sound, so it doesnt give you much disadvantage.
