We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
youll get the first unlock on your next promotion...
depends on what you like the best...the sniper unlock m95 is not that great IMO (unless you have special forces than you can also unlock the l96a1 which i think is the best)
outside of snipers the medic weapon l85a1 is incredible
and the pkm for support is really nice...
or if you like the at class i would def get the DAO12
i would choose based on what class you like the best but i definately would not get the m95 sniper unless you have special forces and want the sf sniper
I agree with Variable on the M95, though it will kill a chopper pilot dead with some luck. It's not the great .50 caliber hope, though. Watch bullet drop (aim slightly over the target at long ranges. About 1-2 pixels works well for me).
The L85 is a great rifle. It's got great magnification on the scope; it's pretty accurate - headshots up to about 50 yards - and if your mouse index finger is fast enough, you can keep it in single shot mode and do a fair imitation of auto fire. The medic kit gets a lot more fun after the L85.
Just started playing support. Hated the stock support MG and gave the class a second shot after getting the PKM (People Killing Machine). The PKM is great and also opens the support class. It's full auto, but if you keep a light mouse index finger, you can easily do single shots and "snipe". Don't know how I ever lived without it. Just watch the muzzle climb in full auto. As with most MG's, the barrel will keep rising with each shot in auto mode, until you're shooting at the sun. I tested this on a fence in Karkand. If you aim at a target and just spray-n-pray, the barrel will climb until you're nowhere near your mark. Just keep on target - left to right - and slowly, slowly, drag the mouse down as you spray. This will compensate. This is probably old hat to most, but I hope it helps.
The bottom line: get the weapon that goes with the kit you like to play the most. Get comfy, unlock, then explore new kits. Repeat.
G.
p.s. If you can spring for it, get SF. With each new rank, you'll get an unlock in vanilla BF2 AND SF. You can take SF weapons + unlocks (like the L96) into vanilla BF2 and get the best of both worlds. Note: not all weapons will cross from SF to vanilla.
