Commander lag

Hi, if someone can help with this issue, I would appreciate it.

For some odd reason, everytime I go commander my fps drops significantly.
Other than that I have no problems with bf2.

Any suggestions? Has enyone experienced this problem?

I'm running:
64 athlon 3400+
2.40 ghz, 2 gig ram
x800 vid card

it happens sometimes to me..is it when you are zoomed it or? is so just zoom out and exit the commander screen and it usally fixes it for me.

It happens as soon as I go commander.

When I exit the commander screen or resign, I still have the problem. I just have to reboot to fix it.

One thing I did notice is when I end the CLI.exe process (catalyst control center) it does improve my game performance when I do command, but I still experince some lag.

i had the same problem with my x1300 allin 1 wonder, and then i got a nvidia 8600 and it works fine now!!!
