You cant take out a plane with an emp unless you shot one at it or it just happened to activate in midair next to a fighter. This emp talk is retarded... honestly if you were going to take a plane out by shooting them with a emp equiped missle ,that probably costs millions upon millions to make, you mine as well just blow it up with a regular missle . So stop talking about emps and look at the issue at hand. It doesnt matter how many jets you have and how well trained your pilots are if you cant see it you cant shoot it. The F- 22 raptor was designed to fly through radar gaps and at canopy level. And if that wasnt bad enough it shows off a superior missle system in the belly and unforseen multi-plane radar detection which can engage 3-4 plane at once over 100 miles away at the same time.
And about american planes, America allways 1 ups everyone. In WW2 it was the german mezzursmidt(misspelled) the US came up with the P-41 and then the P51 Mustang, Then in the cold war/ desert Storm period it was the MIG 21 then 1 uped by the f-16 then it was the MIG 29 fulcrun- misspelled? which was then in turn 1 uped by the f-18 so on and so forth.
It really doesnt matter whos planes are better right now because the people that have the best planes are all allies with the slight exception of Iran. In 10 years the raptor will be old news Im sure they allready have new designs.
