i was reading the change list for the 1.3 patch and i came across where it says added deterent system against alternative ranking. now does any have a clue as to what that means.

I thought it was to deter mods from having their own ranking systems.

probably has something to do with abr (Alternative Battlefield Ranking). EA probably doesnt like it because it will, sooner or later, eat into their profits.

Anything that effects the "bottom line" to EA is a "bug fix."

Because they are so dumb and don't realize what they are doing. If they want bf2 to last as long, they should fix it, not try to sell us crap or give patches that fix nothing.

It's EA, what can you expect.
