It wont run...

After unistalling a while ago i reinstalled BF2
Launching after installation didnt work...
So i uninstalled bf2 manually following EA's instructions including removing the registry keys, profiles etc so there was no trace of bf2 and tried installing again, again it shows the spash screen, adjusts the resolution and then cuts back to the desktop...

You need to isolate the issue. It could be a faulty psu, the vid card bus controller on ur mobo may be the issue, poor drivers or inadequate cooling, etc. Are you having this same problem with other games or just bf2? Can you list your system specs? THe more information provided the better the assistance. I have experienced an installation issue that is similiar to your's. When originally installing bf2 did it work. I remember when installing regular HL several years ago I had to get a replacement installation cd due to a bad burn, keep us informed...
