As promised I have done updates that people requested. These new features consist of:

- Apply one accounts setting (graphics, controls, servers) to anothers to get rid of the annoyance of creating a new account. (redoing controls, tooltips, etc.)
- Clean Server History (I was told it increases load times)
- View, Edit, and Add new favorite servers
- Clean Logo Cache
- Disable Movies

Installation Instructions:

*Note*

This program was written using managed c++ for various reasons, therefore
it requires the .NET framework. If you do not have this (I have heard it comes
with windows update but haven't verified) you will need to download it from:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/downloads/updates/default.aspx

*/Note*

1. Unzip Battlefield_Cleaner_v2.zip to desktop or directory of choice (this choice
will require making a shortcut to the exe and placing it on the desktop)
2. If you have the original Battlefield Cleaner just replace the original exe with this one

to improve the performance of bf2, if your bf2 runs slow or crashes, clean its cache and server history, this tool (im guessing) does it for you

Thanks for the updated program man, looks much better and has way better functionality. Nice to see you updated it so the user can search for the battlefield folder now. Great little program.

I Just Fixed A Bug Where The Port Was Wrong When Adding A Favorite Server, You Have To Re-DL To Use This Feature If You Already Have It Downloaded, SORRY!

Thx for posting that you ran into an error. The problem you ran into is caused by the Battlefield 2 folder which is in your my documents folder having a different path than expected. I have put in a fix that will Verify whether or not this auto-search was successful. If it fails it will prompt you to find the folder yourself.

I have finished the update and all you have to do is re-dl the file and you are set.

BTW. Would you mind posting the path to your battlefield folder so I can add it to my folder auto-search? If you don't feel comfortable posting it feel free to email me at rxsensa@gmail.com

If anyone else runs into ANY problems, post here or email me to let me know and I will get it fixed that day or the next depending on the time I get the request.

next to the babes....:p

I've done some updates since last posting here. Some of the changes include:

- Changed the method of detecting the bf2 folders contained in the my documents folder and the bf2 install directory. Both have been successfully detected (there is still a find folder button under the "Disable Movies" tab although it is not needed, it is added per request)

- Updated for better support of adapting to different XP themes

- Added "Show Files" button under Graphics Cache per request to see files that are going to be deleted

- Added Method of finding bf2 cache in case auto-detect fails (which all tests have shown it won't)

To get the update just re-dl and replace the new exe with the old one

I can't get anything to come up, in the server history or favorites list. Is the profile your BF2 name you log in with?
