    About this squadhopping issue

My sincerest apologies if this is a repeat posting, but I'm wondering where the big fuss was to get squadhopping banned.

In pretty much all of the cases I've seen, squadhopping is done when a side is desperate, they're down to their last flag and are doing anything to survive. Whats the big deal if they hang on for another couple of minutes? I've never been on a team thats getting an ass-whopping who have resorted to squad-hopping actually come back to win the round.

It just seems such a minor, minor issue, I really couldnt care either way too much, but I'd prefer it in there rather than not.

Maybe DICE figured if they removed squad hopping people would think they are still putting a lot of input into the game. Either that or the arguments created by the issue amoung the community detracts from us demanding other game issues or features be included in the next patch.

I'm just getting tired of having features removed. Add features, yes, but removing them sorta gives you less of a game than the one you originally purchased.

major issue of BF2: NOT FAST PACED!!!!!!! if you could spawn and instant action would you? Yes!

another way round would be to have a vehicle for everyone in the map since no one picks each other up and don't destroy their vehicles once used.

    more teamwork = funner game

    but unfortunately

selfish people who care about stats only and no one else's feelings = a game with very few options.

Sorry, maybe I'm too tired but that makes little sense for me. Elaborate?

My guess is that DICE/EA thought it was being used not as they intended, and they thought it had an impact on the game they didnt want to remain any longer. Good riddance, people will have forgotten all about it in a couple of weeks

Yeah true, I'm not going to miss it majorly, there'll be the odd round where I'm getting a hammering where I might look back nostalgically wishing I could to stay in the game. Just seems to be another thing dividing the community.
