Hey guys. For all of you that have been having problems with bf2 minimizing when connecting to servers and turning all funky grey, I have something odd for you to try that might fix it. Keep in mind this works for me and is by no means a technical fix but I thought it was worth mentioning it to other people out there trying to fix this problem. I found that if I set my Audio to Software rendering. Then everytime I go into the game I go to the audio tab... right away it minimizes bf2. After that everything runs just fine.
I found out through a fluke of alt-tabbing while being minimized one time that my audio .exe was stealing the focus. Anyways, try it out and let me know.
