Battlefield and XP 64bit?

    Battlefield and XP 64bit?

    Since installing XP 64bit, i have tired to install BF2 twice, on the 3rd disk it gives me an error that says "Can not install bf2, try starting from the beginning"

    Does anyone know if there are compatablilty issues?

      Well its unlikely to be XP64 because ive installed BF2 a couple of times on XP63 with no problems atall. that said I have the DVD version not the CD version so mabye theres a difference.

          I have installed BF2 on Windows XP x64 using the DVD Version with no problems.

              Would be interested if anyone has installed in from CD onto 64bit XP!

              I got a copy of 64bit but was wondering about compatability issues?

                      is there any preformance, stability or any difference from 32bit? i doubt it...

                          I run the CD version on X64 no problems at all, no performance gain either
