9600 because it atleast has directx 9.1, and its even faster than the fx5700, btw if you have a little bit of extra cash just stop by a store and order some ATI RADEON x1900XTX crossfire kit.

Your throwing your money away buying either of those cards...

The 9600 is the SE version which is severly crippled, stay away from it at all costs.

A regular 9600 or Pro would be a better choice.

That is fairly old, but so are the cards. Both are bottom of the barrel with VIETNAM...let alone BF2...

As said by others, save your money a bit longer and get a decent card, those 2 you listed are cheap for a reason (i.e. they suck). If youre getting a 9600 it HAS to be a Pro version, I had one and it played BF2 ok. Best bang for buck is a 6600gt.
