i got em. do you have a serial port on your computer? you mentioned you didnt want the usb ones, which i have. im not sure if the serial version will work but they should. a serial port is a little 8 pin connector (i think), you have probably used one before. sorry i cant help you with much, im pretty sure they will work if you have a serial port

well its not that I dont want the usb one, its just I cant afford the money at the moment.

I do have a serial port (but I think it might actually be a game port even though he desribed them as serial to me, which neither is a problem)

Was hoping to find someone thats using the non-usb version in battlefield 2

Do you find the pedals reallyworth it? as atm im using the twist on my joystick and I've heard that once youve got pedals you wont go back...

      cheers

hmm got it working if anone is interested.....

had to remove my x-fi when installing the CH products gameport drivers, as it just hung with it in (presume it recognised the device but couldnt locate the game port resource), anyway after I did that it recognised my other card, installed okay and put my x-fi in...

only problem I did have, after finally getting the manual from the chproducts site (they had moved the pdf on there ftp and not updated the link , so found it manually) there was no mention about how to really connect it up, and intil I plugged the aux and josystick together (two fly leads from the main gameport lead) it wouldn't work, and now it only works in plane mode, but alllll good

was suprised at the functionality of the gameport drivers

I use the CH Pro Pedals that are running off my joystick port, they work just fine for the chopper for me.

            Hi Dangerdog,

Did you have to plug the aux and joystick fly leads together to get it to work?

            Thanks
