New bf2 mod: Battle For The Ring

Hello,

sniperjack I have decided to make a mod for Battlefield 2. It will be based on the Lord of the Rings series and will be called Battle for the Ring. There will be maps such as Minas Tirith and Helmsdeep. They will be several armies including Rohan, Mordor, and Gondor and more. There will be vehicles such as horses, oliphants, and trolls and even nazguls. Our forum is at http://lotrmod.forumsplace.com/index.php , we currently do not have a website.

However, this mod needs help! We need:

– coders
– mappers
– skinners
– a website designer
– modelers
– animators
– and other

If you can do any of these things please contact us. It does not matter if you are a beginner or an expert.

Sound cool. If you want when you get some models done I will do Helmsdeep. I can watch the scene on DVD to get it as accurate as possible. Gonna be a big model though lol.

The mod has a few team members so far but we still need all help we can get.

I Might post some picture of some models soon (Even though we don't have many).

Why do you want to know how old I am? Yes, I am younger than the average modder... but I still do have modding experience. In fact I am modeling for 5 mods for battlefield 1942 and bf2.

You dont model level maps thats impossible to render by the BF2 engine, you render static enviroment props and insert them into a generated terrain.

And yeah the mod sounds interesting, not sure where your going with it but it sounds like something I should be keeping an eye on.
