Help!!!

Umm im havin problems if u hadnt already guesed. At certain point on the main game screen my PC jus freezes up with no explanation at all.
It happens wen i ask the it to do somethin e.g change video settings, Update server list or n e thing like that, about the only thing i can do without my PC freezin up is quit!!
These problems hav started jus after i hav gone out and bought my new Radeon X800GT so it must hav something to do with it.

N e help would b really appriciated

aside from posting detailed system specs please check that your drivers are all updated and your bios has the most recent version, otherwise reflash that biatch...

iv updated all my video drivers and my BIOS is recent.

P4 HT - 3.00Ghz
2Gb DDR2 RAM
ATI Radeon X800Gt - 256Mb

That wat u mean by specs???? n e more info needed jus tell me and ill get it

Also i have jus recently reboted the whole OS in an attempt 2 solve watever the problem is, but it hasnt worked
