I use to write countrike hacks, and yes, with an in-game menu, the user can control whether or not he aims at enemies, friends, or both, and you can also control how far away the person is from your crosshair, for the aimbot to work. Some aimbots also only "aimbot" when mouse0 is clicked, that way the person can run around and look around without it being jerky. If the aimbot is using vectors, then u can control where the aimbot aims, so that you wont be getting headshots 100% of the time.

The l85 sometimes has a glitch where a player rolls on the ground, fires once, and you die, regardless of how much health you have. It only happens when they roll. No other gun does it either.
