  • Extracting BF2 Sounds

    Wanted to try and use some of the BF2 sounds for ringstones/alerts etc. Any easy was of doing this? Haven't tried the SDK yet, can the SDK do it? Thanks in advance!

    you have to go to
    C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2

    open up the "Common_Client" WINrar folder, the sounds are in there, you will need to copy the sounds you want, put them in a new folder, but they are in .ogg format, so you will need to convert them to whatever else, (i like using Allok OGG MP3 Converter", you can download it here)
    then just convert it to a usable format.

              The sounds are also in other places. Most of the sounds are not .ogg. Music, ambience, and longer files are. The shorter ones (most of them) are .wav files.
