    Couple of Questions

    Can someone help me?

    1) Is there a way to set 'fast switch weapon change'? For example, I roll my mouse and the weapon changes, no need for me to click to make it swap?

    2) Can specific radio commands be bound to keys? In CSS I press Q and it says 'roger that' for example. I'm after something quicker than holding down and then selecting the radio I want.

    Thanks for any help :)

This is default behaviour. No clicking (like HL) required to select your weapon. As a point of advice, tho, I'd suggest you get use to using your number keys for changing weapons. It's much faster at takes the "oops" out of scrolling past what you want in the middle of a firefight.

    Nope. Gotta use the Commo-rose.

It's default to have fast switch on? It hasn't been on the installs I've done. Is it in settings as I don't recall seeing it? Is it called something else maybe?

I do use the number keys to swap at the moment, never using the mouse wheel. If I had fastswitch though, there would be times I would be better rolling to the next weapon.

Hmm... I recall F by default would rotate to next weapon (I rebound it to go prone) so I guess I can put 'mouse wheel up' there instead...

It also doesn't act like that for me...

BF2 has a "roger that" key too. 'Page Up', but i bet you knew that.

Even if you can't get the mouse wheel thing to work, you should think about binding one of your extra mouse keys to '3'. useful for medic sniper single shot mode, and for those times when you are caught by surprise with your ammo pack out.

How about, when there are no flags left and there are maybe 3 or 4 people left on your team, I'm sure someone once told me how you can watch the remaining people.

How do you do this, and does it have to have certain things set on the server?

When youre dead press 'c' (default) to change through your team only, and i have change weapon bound to pressing the mouse wheel down, find that works nicely, as long as you dont go to far when doing it and end up with the wrong weapon, only too many times ive ended up facing an apc or tank with my trusty old knife instead of my AT rocket. lol.

My press mouse wheel is jump for me... And you apparently can't bind 'mouse wheel up' in the options.

I use the number keys to change weapons, much quicker.

And I just know the position of each radio talk thing off by heart, takes a split second to say one

Yup, but sometimes i do that a bit too fast.

Very often i find myself running along somewhere when i suddenly spot a squad running over an open field. Knowing that my squad is just 30 seconds behind me, i rapidly press Q and the left mouse button. But before i've managed to press the mouse button all the way down, i let go off the Q-button. A loud bang sounds as my M95 rifle goes off into nowhere, and i'm facing a full six person squad now facing me just a few feet away.

I was pretty dead by then.

Your ideas make too much sense. EA would rather we get to see a cute picture of our guns first, that way, in the extra .5 second that it takes to click on said picture, your opponent will have completed his reload and put you down.

Oh, and binding speech, once again, makes too much sense. Just make sure to come to a complete stop trying to spot that tank, so that you can say "enemy boat spotted" as a Jet drops 25000 pounds of bombs on you.

Use keybindings to switch weapons. That is quick weapon switch. Scrolling is slow.
