look at this guys stats, specifically pay attention to time spent as commander in relation to his global score, currently he is ranked as second overall as commander behind firestorm.... strange....

i am also finding that after the latest updates, as commander, i do not seem to gain any points when i kill someone, i think if your a good commander and don't need to noob around sitting somwhere with the commander screen alday and want to go kill people as well, you should be able to receive other points as well...i beleive this is called...skill?

Ah, yes it is skill, but the point of being a commander is to help your team, thus EA made it so you get points for having a well performing team, rather than going on a one man rampage. You will not get any points for kills, hopefully discouraging you from going on the aforementioned rampage.

Check out his best round scores on each map. His top score in one round is 100 on Wake Island..........unless you count the 3587 in one round on Sharqi.

I tracked this guy down just to ask him what the deal was, and surprise, surprise, he was bragging his ass off like he was a bf2 master, I got a couple of other people into it, as soon as question started flying at him about hacks etc. he left the server... hmm.... (no screenies, unfortunately:|:)
