Ok, I'm almost POSITIVE it's a lack of RAM that's causing this problem (only 512 MB).
Anyway, as of late, I've noticed significant moaning of my computer and general slow down whenever I load up a map. Actually, getting the map loaded and connecting to the server isn't so much the issue. The issue is that, upon entering the map, the game comes to almost a complete standstill before eventually loading the kit and spawn point selection screen. Here, it runs rather smoothly. However, the second I spawn, my frame rate, once again, drops below even one frame per second, and after desprately running around (Or so I think I was doing, for I couldn't see because of the low framerate) for a good minute or two, I supposedly "lose connection to the server."
So I'm just wondering if this is a RAM issue.
Specs:
-3.00 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
-200.03 Gigabytes Usable Hard Drive Capacity
-153.70 Gigabytes Hard Drive Free Space
-512 Megabytes Installed Memory
-NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX
