Funny, I seem to get the opposite of that bug quite often, where the enemy manages to drop me almost instantly.

Yeah I've also been switched and spawned at an enemy base while still in MEC clothing, but never given god mode. The around 500 rounds of 5.56mm that inpacted my body sort of proved that. I lasted about 2 seconds.

When I spawned again everything was A-OK.

Dam every patch seems to bring more new bugs ive never heard of any of these before.

I haven't been made invincible, but I have been team switched, and then switched back, while playing commander.

So you being honest left the server even though you weren't cheating, and half of the BF2 players being cheaters (stats padders, hackers etc) are still on the board, since EA is not doing anything about it anyway. What's the percentage of the people that had their stats reset compared to all those cheaters that have't been touched? Half of the people that admin their own servers are stats padding, and nobody does anything about it.

man, i would be in doubt of what to do. be nice and honest and leave server, or rack up TONS of kills, but risk having people send EA footage of it and get my account wiped for cheating

If that happened to me I would have to leave also. I would notice it right away as I get killed a lot but I get a lot of kills also.
I have also noticed that when I am close to certin players I get lag. I suspect that these players are running cheats. It would take a long time to explain the details, Ive been recording video of my games and was able to see it that way. I dont think EA would believe me though.
I also think a lot of the so called bugs might be caused by badly coded cheats. If this is true it would explain why EA cant seem to fix some of these. Who really knows, Im probably out in left field again. But does anyone else think this might be the case. . . . . . . .Red

Sounds like you were still on the USMC side, but just wearing a MEC skin.

This confirms my suspicions about the Red/Blue tag bug being caused by memory locations not being cleared/repopulated correctly during a team switch.

Id laugh if soon there is a hack to exploit this ...or maybe theres one out there already.

Ya. When I was playing, I chatted to everyone and told them what was happening, and a few people flammed me for hacking. One guy just stood next to me and continued to shoot me in the head. I think he though that after enough head shots I would die.
