Oh and there are a few other graphics choices but i thought the ATI would be best:

    Dual 256MB PCI-Express x16 NVIDIA® GeForce™ 7900 GT [+£340]
    Dual 256MB PCI-Express x16 NVIDIA® GeForce™ 7600 GT [+£163]
    256MB PCI-Express x16 NVIDIA® GeForce™ 7900 GT [+£100]

I bought mine from http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/Default.asp and I guarantee you that it will be far cheaper than ordering through Area 51...they're beautiful machines but they are waaaaaaay overpriced.

Re: what pc would you get

Alienware pc's say to me that they are gonna last and i know they are expensive but the higher the price i recon the longer its gonna last. Theres some not bad pc's from my local shop pc world 2.8ghz 1gb ram 300gb and a 256MB ATI X600 DVI Graphics which will run bf2 fine but how long till a new game comes out and this pc wont run it, or how long till something breaks like many of my old pcs

If anyone can find a use with a windows 95 pc that sounds horrible please let me know!!!

Building your own will save you a lot of money and only takes an hour on google to learn how.

Build your own,, way cheaper and you can get exactly what you want.

AMD X2's are the way to go with both dual core and 64bit they are much more future friendly, and they are without a doubt the gaming champions. Also, nvidia cards are a better choice than the ATI's IMO. The top end cards use waaayyy less power and put out just as much. nVidia's SLI also kicks the crap out of ATI's Crossfire. It has just been around longer and is more trouble free and proven. And for gaming either get a Raptor, or use 2 Seagate Barracuda's in Raid 0, and 2gigs of RAM for sure.

Re: what pc would you get

You'd have to be crazzy to buy a pc, build your own. AMD X2's are alright right now, you wont see a big difference gaming but you should see a difference for desktop use, games need to support dual cores to have a performance gain, and right now most games dont, theirs just a few games that do. However in the near future dual core cpus will be big and most programs will support them, but right now its just the software holding them back from what they can really do. But i dont know alot about them since i dont have one, I plan to get one soon.

BTW: alienware is a joke, their just fancy cases with regular parts in them with a big price tag
