It's very diffrent, think about it. With the knife thing, you have one (we'll call him the bitch) that keeps getting knifed, and gets no points.

If you got points for disarming, then you would have 2 people that are stat padding a and both would gt points at the same time. There would be no bitch so to speak.

You missed my point. Yes, I understand both people get points in the second scenario. HOWEVER, in both cases, the ONLY deterant is for the admin on the server to remove the violators.

Besides, in the case of "medic-bitch", as you call it, the two players can alternate so that the bitch starts to get points and the medic gets knifed.

Ultimately there will always be a padding factor so long as ranked server admins enforce rules against the BF2ROE, or leave the server unmoderated for long periods of time.

It would be great if EA/DICE would add points for removing mines, perhaps more people would do it.
As engy I always remove enemy mines and get the benifit of it reaming me with mines but points should be given too I agree

You get points for everything ellse, so why not for removing mines, and hostal mines only.

I hope it would incurage people to remove them, caus its a hard time to get past them at karkand while making your way whit an APC.

Here's the reason the kit doesn't have "raw power".... you can jump into a tank and own the tank the whole round....

I hate it when I hear people complain that the engineer doesn't have raw power... NO CRAP IT DOESN'T... it's called BALANCE. But what other class can keep a tank the whole round?

The engineer is very underestimated, the shoutgun especilly remington is one hell of a CQC weapon its a one shot kill. Its one of the best guns to use while caping the hotel at Karkand.
