please revive the medics

when the coast is clear and you see a dead comrade near you check his kit to see if he is a medic and revive him you get free points and his kill ratio won't get hurt. I don't know how many times as a medic I have been killed and my team mate just runs past me even though htey knew I was a medic and the coast was clear.

I have a hard enough time getting medics to revive me when I am dead right next to them and the coast is clear. Fat chance getting someone to switch kits!

FTR, I do exactly that, I switch kits all the time. I am always assessing the situation and determining what is needed and looking for kits to help. Works wonders :)

I dislike switching kits, people don't have the common sense to switch their kits back.

uhm.. once you pick up a kit... if there are not kits close by... you can't just drop it... there's no common sense about it... you can't do it.

and you can't swap kits with live players.

Thats why when someone revives you with your own kit, you immediately shoot them in the head and take your kit back.

If they're dead, something killed them, meaning that there usually is a kit around.

For someone who tells others to use commonsense you don't have much yourself.

1) someone could have killed them and moved on so they are no longer around.
2) they could have been killed by any type of vehicle
3) they could have been killed by arty.
4) even if you did kill the other guy it is not always a good idea to go switching kits. . .sometimes you have to make sure the area is clean or go do something more important then giving a one-trick pony their kit back.

In my personal experience I have found that there usually is a kit lieing around if someone on my team is dead. Not always, but quite often.

if you're a medic and you die.... you're laying there with a medic kit to the side.

I come up... switch your kit with mine... my kit gets layed down next to you. I pick up your medic kit.

I revived you... you pick up my kit.

No other kits are around. So I'm not dropping my kit to give your medic kit back... because there are no other kits to pick up.

Alright, but considering that this is not always the case it is certainly not common sense to do so.

You can at least spend a few seconds looking around for a new kit, and it's when players don't even bother doing that that I get annoyed. Wich is what I meant with my original post.. enough misunderstandings, eh? :p

I switched kits to revive once.. I had an mg36, he had a g36e. I picked up his kit, and revived him. He ran off, and 30 seconds later he actually said:

"OMG WHAT HAPPENED TO MY KIT?!"

I play as a medic a lot and i get soooooo ****ed off with people who won't revive me, especially if i am in a squad full of guys who i have risked my ass to revive numerous times. How hard is it to switch kits and revive the guy?
You get team points, your team keeps a ticket, a medic has been kept alive, meaning more tickets can be saved in the future. Sure, you might not want to be a medic, but geez, using a g36e for ten minutes can't be that bad can it?

first you complain that nobody revives then you make up all kinds of BS about how they should try to give you your kit back. Well, how about instead of stat padding for a little while, you actually use the kit they gave you. You never know if that kit hey gave you may prove even more useful than just being medic.
