Anyone know when Armored Fury is supposed to come out? IGN says April 28, but gamespot says May 7.

Has it been pushed back?

I would much rather see the time and effort spent on making the original, which they can't seem to decide on how to fix it, what to put in it, how to run it, a better game. And SF's needs some TLC also. But no, lets release "ANOTHER" Tank whore peice with the new stuff only available in 1 out of the ??? # of new maps....yeah...sounds good!

I care, and BF2 is fine. Too many people on this forum b*tch and complain about EA & DICE being lazy or some other way how they're not 'taking care' of the customers.

Its a videogame, a product sold by the company to the customer. Any faulty product released by the company would be recalled and fixed, in terms of the gaming industry, this means "a patch" to fix errors with the coding/mapping. A company who constantly fails their customers will get a lot of hate. EA in general are very VERY shoddy at PC titles, be it single player (conversions from console to PC when it was made on PC...wtf) or multiplayer they really do produce sub-par products, with just enough playability and eye candy to make people want it.

Listen, I'm not going to get into a major EA\DiCE debate with you, but I disagree with a lot of your points.

BF2 was initially buggy. Most online games are and they need to be continually developed because even though they do extensive beta tests, real world applications always highlight weaknesses, bugs and exploits.

You also compare a videogame in the same manner of something like a car - a product that would be recalled. Don' be ridiculous. They delivered what they promised: an engaging online multiplayer game. They realized the shortcomings of the original release and are still pumping out new patches - as well as new content.

You obviously enjoy the game or you wouldn't be playing it, never mind joining a forum community that revolves around it. Sure, certain things are frustrating and some people are complete smacktards, but that's life.

I know this is an unpopular view in this community, but that's my opinion.

If they need to patch the game before its released i suppose it all depends if they get the patch right in the first place.
