Error msg when starting bf2

Graphics driver has already been updated....have not tried re-installing it yet...



Any help would be appreciated...

I cant even find that folder its talking about in my game, so i would say reinstall and then patch it, see what happens.

I have that folder, but its empty.

That looks like a internal debugging message

well, i found the "Shaders" folder, i meant I cant find the "staticmesh" file thingy

well at present im talking with a friend who is having the same problem, he did get in but has crashed back to desk top, he also cant play any other games ,were at a loss. so if you find out what is causing this problems please reply back

its possible you guys have viruses?? run a virus scan and check (if you havent already)

I too have the shader folder but was empty....
When this problem first surfaces....my whole bf2 folder content was almost gone...i can't even run the game....my other games folder content was totally wipeout....leaving only the folder itself....weird

So i tried the system restore option....restore it 3 weeks back and everything was back in it's orginal place....but that's when i get this error msg when i tried to play bf2....virus scan was even done before and after the restore....
So my last hope is to totally re-install everything.....and patching too.....sheeeeshhhhh:hmm: :hmm:

Will update further after re-installing....

Re-installing and re-patching done......Game is back to normal.....
Although still couldn't figure out what causes the error msg....just glad that i can continue playing bf2
