Lag In S/p With Offline Account?

Been getting horrible lag in multi play so I created an offline account and am getting lag in single player . Though it was internet connection so thats why I created the s/p account and it proved otherwise .

Suggestions ?

Is it graphic lag?
What are you computer specs?

Hey Dog. you can't get latency lag in Single Player, it's not possible. If it's system lag you mean, an explanation for that is that bots are an extra drain on CPU power.

Yeah he just said the lag is in SP mode which rules out latency. Read the whole thread.

Post your specs and change some video settins maybe. Lower res (in game and desktop) and maybe tweak your driver settings with the quality or performance options. Unless you wanna really get in there and get your hands dirty.

His graphics/BF2 itself might be too much for his computer.
He can't get a definative anwser till he posts his system specs.

My System Specs Are:

Intel 3.0 Ht
2 Gig Corsair Ram
G Force 6600

All Video Settings In Game Are Set To Default / Low .

Still No Idea Why Im Getting Lag In Multi & Single Player?

open console ` key, and type

renderer.drawfps 1

and check your fps, also check programs & processes running in background (anti virus updating? auto scanning?). "lag" is not what you are getting, "lag" is only for internet connection, you have a fault elsewhere.

Hit CTRL-Alt-Delete right now. Check the processes tab. Click user name to sort which ones are being run by you (the user). If it's a long list, you've got too much crap running in the background.

I did that and there is nothing running . All antivirus and firewalls are down .

go ingame, load up a map and hit ` (should be top left of keyboard) then type in the console window that comes up

renderer.drawfps 1

and your FPS (frames per second) will be shown in the top left of the screen

Ok Fps Are 24.0/42.5 Is That Bad?
